Return to Sport - November 18 Update

01, November 2021

We hope this email finds everyone enjoying the return to basketball. Our first round back has been a resounding success.

With Victoria soon to reach 90 per cent double dose (12 plus) vaccination rate, today the Victorian Government announced a further easing of restrictions for Phase D of the Roadmap: Delivering the National Plan. As of 11.59pm tonight (Thursday 18th November) the following will apply to ALL Knox Basketball run competitions.

Vaccinations:
KBI venues will continue to operate under our COVIDSafe plan as per the current DHHS regulations. Vaccination status is not required for indoor sport.

Density Limits:
As of 11.59pm tonight (Thursday 18th November) density limits have now been removed by the Victorian Government. There will be no player/spectator cap at any KBI Competition venues.

Check Ins:
Check in is mandatory at each venue upon entry. This can be done via the QR code signage placed at each venue.

To make it easier for multiple check ins, we recommend people adding each of our venues as a Favourite via the Service Victoria app. This will allow you to check in without having to scan the QR code each time. For a step by step guide on how to do this, please visit: https://service.vic.gov.au/check-in#save-favourite-locations

Face Masks:
As of 11.59pm tonight (Thursday 18th November) face masks are no longer mandatory inside stadiums, but are recommended in settings where social distancing is not possible.

We ask that all patrons show patience and are respectful to our staff and volunteers during the check-in process.
